Just read an article for optimizing Windows, thought I would share with Windows users (no URL, article was written in another language) I am running Widows 10 on a Virtual Machine, the improvement is definitely noticeable. This is not just good for efficiency, it is good for security and protecting privacy as well. 1. Windows Update Delivery Optimization Settings -> Windows Update -> Advanced Options -> [disable EVERYTHING] Everything below from (2) can be done in Service window, search Service or type and run services.msc: 2. Disable "Connected User Experience and Telemetry 3. Disable "WAP" ??? (I couldn't find it, hope someone can help me) 4. Disable "Widows Search" 5. Disable "SysMain" (previously called Superfetch) 6. if you don't print, Disable "Print Spooler" 7. Disable "Windows Biometnic Service" 8. Disable "Remote Registry" 9. Disable "Program Compatibility Assistant Service" a. if you don't play XBox, Disable all XBox related services b. Disable "Remote Desktop Service" P.S.
