I think what you are saying is that it's one or the other. Have a custom Title Bar Name OR Show the chart number in the tab. You can't have both? is that correct?
This is correct for the tab. There is not a way to use the "Title Bar Name" and display the Chart Number in the tab. But, you should see the Chart Number in the Title Bar and in the Chart Header. If you are not seeing it in those locations, then please get us an image of what you are seeing.
