I would like to request an enhancement to the Control Bar buttons in Sierra Chart. Currently, Control Bar buttons (including ACS buttons) are visually difficult to distinguish between their “on/active” and “off/inactive” states. For users who rely on these buttons to control critical functionality, such as enabling or disabling automated trading systems, this can be error‑prone because it is not immediately obvious whether a button is active or not, at least with my eyes and 4K monitors. Requested enhancement: Add the ability for each Control Bar button to have: A distinct color for the “off/inactive” state - along with changeability for text colors. A distinct color for the “on/active” state (after a button press). Optionally, distinct text labels for each state (e.g., “AUTO TRADING OFF” vs. “AUTO TRADING ON”). Use case: I have a custom button that turns an automated trading strategy on and off. It is critical to know at a glance whether this button is currently activated or not. Clear, high‑contrast visual feedback (different colors and/or text for each state) would greatly improve usability and reduce the risk of unintentionally leaving trading enabled or disabled. Thank you for considering this request. |
