@Tony, I believe my current pc has adequate specs, so switching to Apple and THEN switching to linux is probably not worth it. I use minimal studies and only 3 chart windows, so I don't ask much of SC or my system. I just want everything to work without having to think about it. My main goal is simplicity, and I consider Windows 11 the exact opposite. So nothing I don't need or don't use that adds unnecessary complexity if I can help it. From what I'm gathering Mint with Wine will be more than adequate for my needs, now I just need to dive in and figure it out. Your earlier Meetup suggestion is something I'll likely do. |
