I have tested version 2839 and have not been able to reproduce any issues with moving the selected cell on a spreadsheet. Opening a spreadsheet study, or a new spreadsheet window, and clicking in the cells area and using the arrow keys on the keyboard will move the selected cell in the spreadsheet.
