Select the symbol you want to update and in the box to the right where it lists the "Settings" find the entry for "Trade Position Limit" and enter the value you want. Note that there is also an "Order Quantity Limit" if you want to limit the quantity that can be entered for a single trade. Refer to the information at the following link and the item below it: Global Symbol Settings: Trade Position Limit But if this was during live trading, then you should have been limited to a total quantity of 5 for all symbols for which you had open positions.
