Copying the chartbook in the manner in which you are doing it is the correct way. You should not have any issues with missing drawings. The only thing we can think of that would cause something like this is that the Chartbook is not saved at the time that you copy it, so the Drawings are not fully updated in the source file. Also, just to be safe, be sure to not have Sierra Chart running in either instance at the time that you do the copy.
