SierraChart is *already* involved in Stock market , supporting Interactive Brokers TWS for stock trading (Interactive Brokers Trading Service). The ask has nothing to do with SierraChart's superiority or their perfection. Ofcourse SC is superior in many aspects compared to their peers, it's why we're with SC and asking them to step into supporting Schwab, one of the largest stock brokers in the country...,now that they've an established API and many trading platforms including Dastrader(with Schwab API integration in Production for a year now, which is what I trade with for stocks), Ninjatrader(https://support.ninjatrader.com/s/article/Connecting-to-Your-Schwab-Account?language=en_US) and others(eg QuantConnect,Snaptrade etc) already support them. With all the issues reported with IBKR TWS, might be worth a look, into integrating with Schwab(https://advisorservices.schwab.com/managing-your-business/tech-integration/trading-integration), for a more robust stock trading platform offering.
