After you changed the "Intraday Storage Time Unit" to "1 Tick" did you select "File >> Reconnect"? You need to do this in order to update the feed and actually start getting the data in 1 tick increments. You should start getting the markers showing up for the current data as it is coming in. If you want to get the data for the earlier time today, then you will need to select "Edit >> Delete All Data and Download" in order to redownload the data in the 1 tick increment. We are not sure why your historical data prior to data is in 1 tick increments, as that is why it is showing and now is not. But once you have this worked out and the data redownloaded, you will be fine.
