Post From: ACSIL performance question, how much calculation time is too much?

I am in the process of converting 4 spreadsheet studies to ACSIL, they are all on different timeframes and I have about 200 formulas to do.

30 of those formulas are buy/sell signals while the rest are complex conditions they rely on.

As I've been working on one signal and piece by piece converting the conditions it uses from referencing spreadsheet studies to using straight up ACSIL (getting chart number, ID, subgraph, converting to the current time frame, then doing the main logic etc..), I'm noticing the calc time getting larger and larger. Right now its at about 300ms after my last modification. I can only expect it to get higher.

How much is too much?

I have 10 more conditions to convert to ACSIL for this one signal. And thats using lambda to short circuit the condition tree so it stops as soon as one condition fails. My PC is pretty powerful, 128gb RAM, Core i9-9900k (8 cores, 16 threads), all SSD's.. the CPU could use an update, sure, its from 2019 or so.
