So I am now stuck once more. I am literally banging my head against the wall lol. 3 full days literally on the same issue.... I want the spreadsheet to lock trading upon conditions for when I am not at my desk. Let me explain better how I am structuring the sheet so it can be helpful and easier to understand; - Cell O3 is used for manually typing in the conditions for when Cell K3 becomes TRUE for the long entry. - Cell P3 is used for manually typing in the conditions for when Cell M3 becomes TRUE for the short entry. I see a potential entry (say, long) in the market, but I am leaving my desk (you know, sometimes I sleep too lol) before getting filled. Leaving cell O3 with "xyz" typed in, will allow cell K3 to become TRUE as soon as the conditions are met. I get filled long, but not being at my desk, I cannot empty cell O3, so O3="xyz". Stop OR target get filled, trade's over. However, O3 is still "armed", so to speak. This will cause the system to fire off another entry upon K3 being TRUE again. I don't want this to happen of course, so I am working to find a solution to "lock trading" until I am back at my desk. I tried to find a solution to this issue but found none. Everything I came up with is not capable to handle the "lock trading" only after being filled. Every formula I was able to come up with worked just fine only after getting triggered, meaning, lock trading after being in a trade. I am looking for some solution to allow me to get in the trade, then lock trading until, for example, either O3 or P3 "reset" by me emptying the cells manually. Only then "Disable Auto Trading (read/write):" - Cell J92 (V2) returns 0 instead of 1. I think that in plain English I am looking for something that will do the following; First check if there is a position, if not, then trading allowed. Once there is a position, then lock trading until O3 or P3 resets to "". Only then trading is allowed again. Repeat. English is not my main language so forgive me is I wasn't crystal clear.
