1. You should be able to get the Volume Profile to aggregate into 2 ticks by setting the "Ticks per Volume Bar" to "2". Make sure that after you change this that it is actually staying at 2. It looks like it is changing back to "1", although we do not know why this would be the case. If you have the "Volume at Price Multiplier" set to a value other than 1, then this will force the "Ticks per Volume Bar" to be that value, but it should not do this when it is set to 1. Let us know if it is actually set to 2 or if it keeps resetting to 1 for some reason. 2. We have noted this as a Feature Request. We have had others ask for the same thing, but we can not say when we would get to it.
