There is no reason the Continuous Contract would have any impact on the Day of the Week or the Date/Time of a bar. Where are you using the formula you give? The item "BARTIME" and "BARDATE" are not spreadsheet functions, these are only for the Alerts. So if you have those in a spreadsheet, you should be getting an #NAME error.
