SC,

Due to the issues I've had recently regarding automated trading fills I've had to watch charts move very slowly. And although I've been able to figure out the issues related to price assignment of filles during simulated replay and my erroneous Bid Ask T&S data, there was another issue I noticed.

My charts are built on Renko bars. There are certain signals built to look at the Open of a bar and whether or not it may be above or below a certain criteria. We all know that Renko bars offer a visual pattern, but that the pattern, or the picture of each bar is necessarily based on where price was as shown in the Candlestick picture we see.

In the past, you've directed users to use the Renko Visual Open/Close Values study to capture actual Open and Close prices of Renko bars.

In trying to figure out the issue I mention above I did add that study to the chart and watched it closely, and slowly. What I saw was that the study can apply a value to a new chart as the Open Value, then, as the bar completes and forms a new bar, that initial Open Value will change.

Is this study, as built, only intended to be looked at as an "On bar close" type of study? In which case, what we see in the current bar is not necessarily accurate with respect to the Open Value?
