Changing the Tick Size should not have any impact on the chart performance with regards to the bars. The data is still coming in at every tick and the bars are updating to that. It can make a bit of a difference for the Market Depth data in the DOM. We highly recommend setting the Tick Size back to its original setting and then if you want to aggregate the data in the DOM, then refer to the following: Chart Settings: Market Depth Combine Increment in Ticks (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Market Depth menu) Also refer to the following for other columns: Chart Settings: Apply Combine Increment in Ticks to Other Market Data Columns (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Market Depth menu) If you are using a Numbers Bars chart, then refer to the following setting to aggregate the data for Volume at Price: Chart Settings: Volume at Price Multiplier for Historical/Intraday Chart (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Chart Data >> Volume at Price menu) And finally, if you are using a Market Depth Historical Graph, then refer to the following Input: Market Depth Historical Graph: Combine Increment in Ticks For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
