Hello DrinkMoreWater! I hope all is well on your end! Please forgive me in advance if my following recommendation (Possible fix to the discrepancies that you’re experiencing with your 4H ES Chart compared to other platforms) ends up not being a possible solution to the the challenges that you’re experiencing. After taking some time to review the 2 Charts that you attached and as well as with my OWN Sierra Chart 4H Bars, I noticed that the opening and closing of each 4H Bar of YOUR Sierra Chart are different compared the other platforms and mine, which I believe is the reason why your 4H FVG are are given you different results. Please if I’m not mistaken I think the Main reason why you’re seeing the discrepancies between Sierra Chart compared to the other platforms is NOT Because there’s something possibly wrong in Sierra Chart or anything of that nature. I think the reason is more has to deal with how the Futures Market Session TIME is set to open on the platform. For Future Market (NQ/ES…etc) some dedicated futures platforms automatically comes preset with 6PM-5PM(18:00PM—17:00PM) and some Platforms you would have to SET the Time Zone yourself. I also went through this similar experience and I was trying to understand WHY the 4H Time frame Bars sometimes looked different depending on the platform, but then I came to realize this solution after a bit of researching in the past. Please double check the settings on your Sierra Chart work station to make sure that you have the futures Market Session Time Zone SET to 18:00-17:00 Eastern Standard Time and I think this should help align with the 4H Time Frame to match the other platforms.( this would give you the 6PM, 10PM, 2AM, 6AM, 10AM and 2PM EST 4H Time Frame Opening Candlestick Bars that Aligns correctly with the New York Futures Market Time. I hope this also helps you with the issues that you’re currently experiencing as well. Best regards Date Time Of Last Edit: 2025-10-19 00:30:15
