The data we have for $INX is end of day data. So it only updates once a day at the end of the day. This is also Index data, so there is no volume/bid/ask information, which is why the Numbers Bars and VWAP will not work properly. You state that you are wanting to trade the SPX500, which would be the S&P500 Index CFD. We have CFD data available for free from FXCM. So you can open a chart for the symbol "SPX500" (no quotes) directly and get the current data. If you want to find this in the Find Symbol window, it is under the section for "CFD - FXCM".
