When you open a new file in most programs use 'save as' to give it a name, there will be some sort of marker added to that file so it will never ask you again what name to save it as. For example, open a new Excel spreadsheet, save it as '2025-Budget' and Excel will never ask again what name to save it as. It knows because there's some sort of marker added when the file was first created. Not so with a Sierra Quotebards where sometimes it doesn't ask what name to save it as (because it already knows), and other times it does ask as it seems to have forgotton the original name. This makes it very confusing to those who use many different Quoteboards because we might have forgotton the name of the original file. Many of my Quoteboards don't need updating that much but when I do, the Sierra/Data/ box sometimes pops up asking what name I want to save it as - but it should never ask this, unless I use 'Save as' instead of using the normal 'save'.
