You should never have to restart Sierra Chart for an issue like this. Other programs in the world require restarting but not Sierra Chart. It may help to reload charts, after they have been running a long time, like many days or months to reduce the amount of days loaded in them. This can be done with Edit >> Reload Intraday Charts.
