I often trade many lots, and seeing all fills from all previous trades on my chart quickly becomes a mess and makes managing my positions more difficult. Therefore, I only want to see the order fills of my currently open position and need a way to hide the order fills (entry/exit markers and connecting lines) of all previous trades that I already closed. I know, that such an option does unfortunately not exist in Sierra Chart. But I hope that I can somehow emulate this behavior by using the "Chart >> Chart Settings >> Trading >> Order Fills Start Date/Time" settings. However, manually adjusting these settings between trades is not a viable option. Therefore, I want to ask if there is any way to a) automatically update these settings, i.e., whenever I open a new trade set these to the current date/time, or b) program a button to do this Option a) would be more comfortable of course, but pressing a button once before I open a new trade would be totally fine as well. I'm a Software Engineer myself, and I'm familiar with C/C++, so I could probably code something like this myself, if I know that it's generally possible in SC, and if you could please point me in the right direction so that I know where to start. |
