For stocks, you need to enter the symbol for the data you want to get from our Denali Exchange Data Feed. So if you are using the NASDAQ TotalView, the symbol would be the standard ticker with the -NQTV (such as IBM-NQTV); if you are using the U.S. Equities Consolidated Tape, then it would be the standard ticker (IBM).

Then, you need to enter the IB symbol in the "Trade and Current Quote Symbol" and you need to set the option for "Use as Trade Only Symbol" to "Yes".

This is different from how Futures work, where we have a translation behind the scenes for the IB futures symbol to the data needed from our Denali Exchange Data Feed.

Note that we do not have stock options data, so that data you would need to get from IB by entering the appropriate symbol in the "Symbol" field.

Refer to the following for how to add symbol settings for the "Trade and Current Quote Symbol" so when you select a specific stock, the Trade and Current Quote Symbol can be automatically filled in for what you need:
Global Symbol Settings: Trade/Quote Symbol
