Yes. Sierra Chart stores the data based on the symbol. Could I have just renamed the existing ESM5.CME.scid file to ESM25_FUT_CME.scid?
No. Different services have the data in certain formats and that is reflected in the stored files. Therefore, you can not rename (or copy) a .scid file for one symbol to another.
