Sierra Chart is incredibly powerful, offering robust chart configurations, drawing tools, and the ability to copy drawings between charts. It’s truly impressive. However, one frustrating issue is with intraday trendlines that project infinitely into the future. There’s no need for some lines to extend indefinitely. When cutting these drawings, the anchor points shift, disrupting the interpolation of the entire line between the initial point and the cut. As a result, other charts displaying the same line show incorrect references. Please consider adding a parameter that, when cutting a drawing, prevents the anchor point from moving and instead limits the line’s extension to a specific date and time where the cut occurred, at least for lines extending into the future. Thank you! |
