This was an incorrect conclusion and did not actually happen on 2025-5-9: We also did see an interruption with NASDAQ TotalView today. No data has been lost but there was a stoppage of data for about a minute. Due to the design of that feed, it takes a long time to recover. This has to do with the extreme market activity and the fact that we are still using a TCP connection for that. We do plan to go to multicast UDP but only until we can manage the packet loss issue which still we observe.
