We had an interruption, earlier today with our 100 Gb circuit to Chicago. The UTP (NASDAQ) and CTA (NYSE and AMEX) data feeds were affected. We failed over to our 10 Gb NY4 circuit so the interruption was not more than 50 seconds. However, the CTA A feeds subsequent to this kept getting interrupted every 5 minutes due to an apparent issue in the Nvidia network adapter driver. There is a small change we need to make in the adapter settings to resolve this (enabling Quality of Service although this does not make sense). It was applied most everywhere except on one of the adapters. There was another short interruption when we switched back over to the 100 Gb circuit when it came up back up. So there were several short interruptions. We will be patching the missing data this evening. NASDAQ TotalView, CBOE indexes, and CFE were not affected since those continuously run on the NY4 circuit. Our new circuit from Cogent is still intended to be delivered at the beginning of June which will solve this problem permanently. Our objective is no downtime at all.
