Post From: Make Sierra TPO Profile Chart as close as possible to eSignal's

Hi,

I have had, and used, the eSignal Market Profile (MP) charts for about 15 years now.
I would like to try to migrate to Sierra Charts if my requirements are met.

The problem:
Yesterday, I paid $46 for Service Package 11 and spent many hours trying to set up the TPO Profile Chart to look and feel like the eSignal's, but I couldn't, even close to it. I understand that those two are different softwares and can never be the same. I am only interested in the appearance of the MP chart.
I am not very good with software and I need your help, please.
While I do not want to give up with just one month on Sierra, my time is limited and I need to know if I can rely on Sierra charts to provide me what eSignal has been for the last 15 years and going forward.

Can you please help me with a guidance on how to set it all up so that it all looks and behaves (as reasonably possible) to the eSignal Market Profile chart I have.
I will attach a snapshot for your convenience, and will follow with some explanations.

Explanation:

1. The MP chart is fixed to scale and, as I pan and move it, the chart scale doesn't change. The scale is set to 3 full ticks in the GBP/USD.

2. As I live in UK, the start of each session is 22:00h until 21:59h next day.

3. The reason why I have two windows on my two screens is because I need to see the complete MP chart (on the right) and the split MP chart (on the left) with associated volume bars.

4. Each time period is a letter coloured so that each 2 hours have different colour.

5. My cursor (the white line) is constantly showing the white horizontal white line, but only if I left click turns into a "hand" to pan and move the charts around.

6. The value area of the MP is marked by a vertical (pink) line, allowing for the time period letters to keep their designated colours.

7. Adding reference points on the chart is by adding horizontal infinity lines, which do not colour code any of the TPOs, as seen by the yellow lines.

I think this is for now.

Thank you for your support.

Kind regards,
K. Todorov
