We just want to explain the frustration we are going through to simply get our own 10 Gb Zayo Internet connection in the Aurora data center.

It would have been done by now. But it is not due to all kinds of bureaucratic nonsense.

We require a crossconnect, between Zayo and the cabinet where our servers are located. We arranged with Zayo to provide this crossconnect. Agreement provided and signed. No problem so far. We even checked with our service provider, to make sure this was okay ahead of time.

Subsequent to this our service provider in the Aurora DC comes back to us and tells us that they must provide the crossconnect and not Zayo. Why?

So we told them to order the crossconnect. And we gave them the letter of authorization from Zayo.

They then come back and say that the letter of authorization must contain this language:

"Customer, agrees that (a) its sole recourse for any claims arising out of this request (“Request”) or the cross connects related to this Request, will be to CME, and Customer covenants not to sue CyrusOne LLC or any of its affiliates (collectively (“CyrusOne”)) for any such claim and; (b) CyrusOne is an intended third-party beneficiary of limitation on claims and recourse set forth in the Request, as applicable".

Thank you,

So Zayo that has to send this to their legal department and that is where it is right now. We could have this done and over with 10-14 days ago if not for all of this complete nonsense.

We promise not to sue anyone, related to any kind of problems for a strand of fiber, going through some overhead channels, in the data center. This is really getting silly.

We can go on and on with all kinds of stories due to frustrations related to IT infrastructure. Of course the worst offender is Microsoft.
