When you restore the Footprint chart, it should not affect the other charts layout. Selecting one of the Tile options will definitely change the way things are aligned. The one thing we think you may want to do is to "Detach" the Footprint chart from the main window. This way when you restore it, it will always be separate from the main window and will not affect the alignment of the other charts.
