After seeing your message, I just restarted my PC. And yes... hmm... after the reboot, the strange sound is no longer there. Since I shut down and restarted my SC instance earlier, I now assume the problem falls under the category of "oddities in the depths of Windows". Sorry for the interruption. Next time... an OS reboot will help. ^^ |
