When you get this "Strange Sound" open your Alert Manager and see if there is an alert that occurred at that time. If you have an alert that is associated with the sound, then look at that alert in the Alert Manager and see what Alert Number is associated with it (it is the last item in the Alert Text - if there is a specific sound file associated with the alert, then you will see the sound file name). Then find that alert in "General Settings" and see what it is set to.
