There is no specific reason the study would not work on a Range chart. You need to look at the specifics of how this study functions to see if there is a situation in your chart that does not meet the math that is called out at the following link: Market Structure MSL/MSH If there is something that should be colored but is not, then we would need to see an image of that situation and an explanation of why it is not doing what you think it should.
