We will look this over. This may be by design (recent change) and if it is, we will add a setting, to also change the Text when the tool configuration is applied, to an existing Text Drawing. This may seem unusual, but the implementation of applying, a configuration to an existing drawing, has a common code base for all drawings. So it is not normal, that someone would want to be changing the text on a drawing when applying an existing configuration for example to change the appearance of the drawing.
