Revised repro: 1. Install Sierra Chart into the default target path (i.e. c:\Program Data\...) 2. Cut and paste the entire installation into a new root folder: c:\Sierra Chart\ 3. Start the application and verify that General Setting => Paths have automatically adapted to the new folder, as you intend. 4. Open Analysis => New/Open Custom Studies File 5. Attempt new file name You must be writing the original absolute path c:\Program Data\... to configuration and not updating it in your folder-self-discovery process. Unfortunately, because your configuration file is not human readable, I cannot help you with that. Incidentally, this issue is low priority for me personally, because I use VS 2022 for C++.
