The saga continues and it’s getting more confusing. As I was opening the two instances manually, I noticed that they were version 2691, they did not update to the new version when I updated the main program a little while ago. So I updated each instance to the new version. Then exited all of them and restarted Sierra, and the main program still did not automatically open the two instances. And here’s where it gets strange, I decided to delete the two instance folders from the Sierra folder to recreate them again directly from the 2716 version main program and when I did, the Fill Markers on the charts disappeared again from the main program and Sheet 22 J45 went back to zero and the Trade Window went back to zero for the MNQ trade. So inadvertently I recreated the problem by deleting the two instances even though that shouldn’t have anything to do with the charts and spreadsheet from the main installation of Sierra other than perhaps the Spreadsheet System for Trading that was part of a group of studies was also applied to some charts in the instances. That’s the only connection I can think of. So then I recreated two new instances and they are version 2716 since they were created from the main program. By doing that the Fill Markers appeared again on the charts in the main program and Sheet 22 J45 has a value and the Trade Window shows a value other than zero. But the main program still does not automatically open the two new instances. Then I exited the program and restarted it and now the Fill Markers are gone again, Sheet 22 J45 is zero and the Trade Window is zero, this time when I opened the two instances manually the Fill Markers are still not there and Sheet 22 J45 and the Trade Window are back to a value of zero. I was about to reinstall the previous version again but thought I’d try one more time, so I exited the program and the two instances and restarted the program, the instances still did not open automatically, but the Fill Makers are there now, the Trade Window is not zero, then I opened the instances again manually and things seem to be working correctly.
