The Trade Activity Log is definitely functioning correctly. There is an explanation for everything you see. One of the explanations is that there are background queries still running. You have to look at the query count (QC) at the top of the Trade Activity Log. Refer to:

Disconnecting and reconnecting, is not going to make any difference at all. None. That is fully and completely unrelated.

We have never ever observed an issue with the Trade Activity Log. Other than not setting Settings correctly, user error. In the past, with the old version of the log with these faulty windows controls which were in the old version of the log, sometimes the value set in those controls were not being read.

We have never observed a problem in the new versions with, the new Display Settings window. And you can know exactly how the filter settings are being read because you can see them on the title bar of the Trade Activity Log and verify they are correct.
