I just got the Surface laptop with Snapdragon X Elite for Black Friday. First thing I did was install Sierra Chart to see how it performs. I typically run 4 heavy chartbooks on my desktop that has Ryzen 9 5900X & it runs effortlessly, no problems at all. Tried the same thing on this Snapdragon X Elite Surface laptop and Sierra Chart freezes during startup itself, haven't been able to start it successfully, gave it multiple tries. Then tried it with just one of those chartbooks at startup (which has 10 charts), its very slow and not that performant. So there you go, for everyone wondering. I'm disappointed! |
