Your conclusion is definitively not correct. The window messages are getting processed. And nothing has changed at all, with window message handling. Absolutely nothing. What you should check in the Windows Task Manager is: User and GDI object counts. What are they? In all cases, the issue is you are using too low of a Chart Update Interval: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/Whats_New.php#SCVer2702 And for the record, we see no such issues like this at all. We see that Sierra Chart is more responsive, the desktop of the system is more responsive. We only see an advantage. There can be no doubt that you are using too low of a Chart Update Interval. Update: We actually now realize why there is an issue when using too low of a Chart Update Interval. Normally this should not matter but the automatic management of too many timer events is actually not working as intended. We are fixing this. This will be out in 2711. The actual problem is, is that there are too many timer messages in the message queue due to too low of a Chart Update Interval. Users who are experiencing a problem, can now see that you are setting the Chart Update Interval far too low, than is capable of being kept up with.
