1. Is there any reliable method (in ACSIL) for determining the Record Interval of a *.scid file in order to avoid re-downloading data?
The file size is an indicator, but one never knows for sure.
So we have to "Delete all data and download" for all symbols every time we change the "Intraday Data Storage Tme Unit" (ie from 1 sec -> 1 Tick or the opposite).
Additionaly, if the test spans many years, this becomes a real waste of time/bandwidth.
I know that one can (partially?) parse the file and determine the record interval by taking the difference of consecutive timestamps in RTH, but is this the only way?.

2. If we don't "Delete all data and download" after changing the "Intraday Data Storage Tme Unit", will the latest *.scid file be composed of different record intervals (before and after the time unit change) as we keep getting new live data?
