We think what you are seeing is just due to the zoomed size of your chart. The Star at a size of 1 is a bit larger than other items (such as "Point"), and with your chart zoomed in to be able to view the Numbers Bars, this looks like it is about right. Please try changing the size to a larger value and see if it becomes bigger. If it does, then this just the way the "Star" is. Again, if you want something smaller, use Point or Diamond, or try some of the other options to see if there is something that works better for you.
