To create a persistent state based on an event, use a formula that looks like the following in a Spreadsheet Formula study: =IF(C > ID1.SG1 + 2 * TICKSIZE, 1, ID2.SG1[-1]) Where C is the Close of a bar, ID1 is the ID of the Moving Average study and the SG1 following it is the actual subgraph, ID2 is the Spreadsheet Formula study and the SG1 following it is its subgraph. the nomenclature of [-1] is to look back at the value one bar prior.
