Same here, 2015 iMac. I have been running Linux since 2019 (dual boot with MacOS), works like a charm: Wine+Sierra and TWS for Linux. Parallels on MacOS has much worse performance than Linux, way too slow. if your TWS is a Mac Version, I don't think it will communicate with Sierra running under Parallels.
