Yes this is true: My understanding is that if I transfer the scid files, I wouldn't have to wait as long when loading my chartbooks for the first time on the new computer.
No these are not required: 2.) Should the following specific data files—"UserContributedStudies_64.dll" and "SystemNotificationMessage.html"—also be copied from the original installation to the new one?
