I have at present simply: 1.) the TPO study with traditional settings(i.e. letter based 30 minute sub periods)with session time 09:30 EST to 16:14:59 EST, use Evening session 18:00:00 EST to 09:29:59 EST...and 2.) Traditional VbP study "Based on TPO Chart" w/ "Time Period Price for Fixed by Time"=1 and "Time Period Length for Fixed by Time"=1. This renders, of course, the classic, traditional cumulative volume histogram matching the TPO chart with a separate profile (both TPO and Volume) for each Session. In answer to your question: I split them manually from Chart Shortcut Menu, sometimes for the whole day session ("Letters/Blocks in own Columns"), but sometimes at a specific point in the day I'll also manually split them into different segments("Split Profile Here") as per my particular desire for analysis at any given moment dynamically. It would be nice to be able to split at will and, whilst always retaining the main cumulative histogram for the session, be able to just isolate a volume profile for one particular "bar", especially the current bar in progress forming. My immediate goal is to have a classic/cumulative profile for the whole session as well as one for the/each ( "an", ideally)sub period/"bar". Thank you.
