To resolve a compatibility issue between client messages and server messages for the chat functionality in Sierra Chart, version 2627 is now required to use the Chat and Telegram alerts. Otherwise, Sierra Chart will not be able to connect to the chat server. Instructions to update: Software Download: Fast Update After the update, check the Telegram options for sending notifications and make sure they are set as required. Instructions: Go to the chat window with File >> Open Chat Window and select the chat you use for alerts on the left side of the Chat Window. Select Commands >> Edit Chat. There are two Relay to Telegram options at the bottom of that settings window. Set Relay Own Messages to Telegram to Yes and press OK. Only this one option needs to be enabled. It is very important you are running an up-to-date version of Sierra Chart for this to work properly. These settings are now controllable per each individual chat. So you have the ability to relay to Telegram your own messages or messages being received, for each individual chat. So you have a high degree of control over this.
