There is some support for replacement characters in the Trade and Current Quote symbol, specifically ? for the contract month and # (or ##) for the 1 (or 2) digit year, but this only works for futures. There is not a way to do this for the generic stock symbols (like ???? that is the symbol settings used for any 4 character stock, such as AAPL).
