Have you tried to open a new Trading DOM for that chart and adding a new Volume by Price study to it? If so, do you see the same thing? Make sure the "Chart >> Chart Settings >> Data Limiting >> Chart Data Type" is set to "Intraday Chart" on the Trading DOM.
