If your "Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Main Settings >> Current Selected Service" is set to "Teton CME Order Routing" and you are not changing this to something else (like SC Data - All Services) then you are always connecting to your trading account that you setup with Ironbeam, and you therefore do not need to worry about connecting once a month (since you are always connecting).
