Not sure if this is the root cause, but I had an instance of Rithmic Trader running at the same time. I tried logging in the RTrader web app at the same time as well and got an error message stating I could only run one instance/connection at a time. I closed out of RTrader completely (web app and desktop app) and then the connection to SierraChart was fine.
