running into same issue as well starting 1148 ( with QT/minGW ). However the same code compiles fine in VS2012. This is the line running into issue with minGW: C:\sierrachart\acs_source\sierrachart.h:5334: error: ISO C++ forbids declaration of 'SCString' with no type [-fpermissive]
