User495945, That was because of the CPI release at 8:30 EST. Since a while ago, due to the risk of extreme volatility during that period, the brokers are increasing the margins to 100% of the Exchange margin. You should have received an email from your broker alerting you for this situation. The margin came back to the "normal" percentage at 9:00am. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2023-10-12 14:44:23
